Senior sessions are one of the easiest parts of my job. Sometimes I walk away from them and I think to myself “Do I really get paid for this?” Haha. I am continually reminded of what a privilege it is to get paid to do something you love. When I say I love it, I mean I really really do love it! I get excited about almost every session and I always have an absolute favorite shot from each one that I do. My favorite thing to do is to have at least one specific new photo idea to try at each session. For Brooklyn session I knew that the zinnias would be blooming and I had this vision for a photo of her spinning with the flowers contrasted against the sky. She nailed it, and It’s one of my favorites from her session.
